We've finally put all of these events together in one place and at the same time!

A lucky few of us remember the exhilaration of walking into an arcade from the early 1980s and being catapulted into an imaginary world of neon glow. Whether you were among the group surrounding around a racing game or in the group hovering around the battle games, you lived for that electronic journey with our best friends into the unknown by battling pixelated aliens, dragons, even ghosts and fireballs.

 

But for most of us, that is just a fanciful vision of a time gone by. When you close your eyes you can still hear the sound of your coins falling down and hitting the sides of the metal "coin catcher" on the change machine, ready for business! The feeling you got when you see that one kid, your rival, dominating your game comes back to the surface like it was yesterday. Oh, but even better, the feeling you had when you went head to head and showed that certain rival who was boss.

Join us in honor of one of the most prolific arcades in the history of arcades. The legendary Twin Galaxies arcade proudly founded on Main St. in Ottumwa, Ia.. We will help you and your family relive one of the most exciting times in modern history as you explore your favorite arcade games, meet new friends, and maybe even run in to a few old ones.

This will be the first time in history that all of these events related to the history of Twin Galaxies, will be held together at the same time, in the same place.

Our venue will be a recreation of times-gone-by with all of the bright cheery happy-go-lucky vibes in the air you would expect of a golden arcade. Don't worry, the adrenaline of head to head competition will be just as thick as it was 35 years ago! You might even meet some of the very same players who played the arcades of Ottumwa back when having a pocket full of shiny quarters was nothing less than a magical fortune.
